Job description

Our client is a very stable international company selling an outsourced business service to small, medium, and some larger businesses. They are the industry leader in what we do, dominate their niche, and are growing rapidly. We are searching for an energetic Area Sales Executive in the Baltimore, MD area that can help develop new business, cold call on new businesses, and also have some minor managerial/operational responsibility (only 4-6 direct reports)

 

 

Compensation: Base salary is around 67k+ depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus earnings with the typical first year is 100-115k+, plus full benefits provided (health,dental,vision,401k) after 30 days, All expenses covered, company cell phone, laptop, and gas allowance/expenses. Two weeks of vacation and extra PTO days, all bank holidays off, no overnight travel.

Daily responsibilities will be as follows:

 

Daily prospecting/cold-calling over the phone and in person


Daily networking via social media and in person local networking events
 

high transactional/fast sales cycle
 

Setting face to face appointments and conducting sales presentations/tours

 

Closing sales in a timely manner to meet monthly/weekly sales goals

 

Management of 4-6 team members (hourly employees) plus minor operational and P&L responsibility


Must report to an office daily (not a virtual / remote position)

 

Requirements :

3-10 years of successful sales experience required

Some sales management/operations experience preferred

Some operations and P&L experience preferred

Bachelor's Degree or 4 year college degree preferred

Positive attitude and competitive nature

VERY GOOD time management skills

Experience working with high transactional sales cycles and on a weekly/monthly sales quota

VERY strong networking skills (internet/social media AND in person networking events)

Strong activity levels and work ethic

Good business acumen and communication skills

High energy level

Ability to work in a high visibility environment (reporting to the same office daily)

Ability to pass standard criminal background check
